Cole Sprouse and Dylan Sprouse, American actors are identical twins, born to Melanie Wright and Matthew Sprouse in Italy. Dylan is 15 minutes older than Cole. Both buddies are named after famous personalities. Dylan is named after poet Dylan Thomas whereas Cole is named after jazz singer and Pianist Nat King Cole. When they’re four months old, they moved to USA and grew up in Long Beach, California. Their parents split in 1997.

It was their grandmother, Jonine Booth Wright, a drama teacher and actress, who prompted the both guys to begin acting at the age of six. Their very first appearance was on a TV commercial and they next appeared on ‘Grace under Fire’, an ABC series, and portrayed Patrick Kelly. Their first major project was ‘Big Daddy’ in 1999, in which they played Julian, a five year old boy. In the same year, they worked together with Adam Sandler for the second and third versions of ‘The Chanukah Song’. They also landed a small role in ‘The Astronaut’s Wife’. After this, they took a little break and returned in early 2000s. Their next appearances were on ‘The Nightmare Room’, ‘That 70’s Show’, ‘MADtv: Season Four, ‘The Master of Disguise’. Cole and Dylan’s first voice-over on ‘Eight Crazy Nights’. Cole also appeared as Ben, Ross Geller’s son, on very popular television series ‘Friends’. Many people have commented that it was a shared role but website and the series’ sources have always maintained that Dylan didn’t appear in any episode. During 2002-03, they were seen in ‘I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause’, and ‘Just for Kicks’. Their most well known role was on ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’, portraying two twin brothers Zack Martin and Cody Martin. It was the performance which made both buddies heartthrobs of teens and youngsters.
In the independent movie ‘The Heart is deceitful Above All Things’, Cole and Dylan Sprouse played Jeremiah. They also have been appeared in ‘The Prince and the Pauper’. The also gave their voices to a movie ‘Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn’t Happen’. Dylan Sprouse also voiced Shasta in Disney Channel’s ‘Snow Buddies’. Sprouses’ favorite pastimes are skateboarding, snowboarding, surfing, basketball, and motocrossing etc.

Cole Sprouse likes mathematics and science. ‘The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time’ is his favorite video game and ‘Forrest Gump’ and ‘Godzilla’ are his favorite movies. On the other hand, Dylan Sprouse dislikes mathematics and likes history. ‘Super Smash Bros. Melee’ and ‘Super Smash Bros. Brawl’ are his favorite video games. His favorite movie is ‘Napoleon Dynamite’. Both love their dog Bubba. Adam Sandler is their favorite actor and co-star.

Role on ‘The Suite Life on Deck ‘

Cole Sprouse portrayed Cody Martin and Dylan Sprouse played Zack Martin on ‘The Suite Life on Deck ‘ and on its spin-off ‘The Suite Life on Deck’. They’re the two sons of Carey Martin, a Tipton Hotel employee. They’re very naughty kids who always had crazy schemes to annoy Mr. Moseby, the hotel manager. Zack took keen interest in girls whereas Cody had no such kinda intentions. Zack used to call Cody ‘a nerd’. Cody had a girlfriend Barbara Brownstein and had a passion for biking, cleaning and cooking etc. Cody was more caring and sensitive than Zack. On the other hand, Zack was un- studious, lazy and 10 minutes older than Cody. Zack’s biggest interest was women and had crushes on several women from the very beginning of the show. Zack normally picked on Cody but he also helped his baby brother, that he called Cody some times, when other people tried to trouble him. More interestingly, the big brother Zack was shorter than Cody.

We also saw that both the brothers were huge fans of Boston Red Sox and they disliked New York Yankees. Cody was a very bright student whereas Zack didn’t do very well in school. Despite it, he was loved by everyone because he was loved by fans, in fact more than Cody.
