Phill Lewis is a very well known American film and TV actor who has appeared in several comic roles. His father Delano Lewis is a former Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone executive and former US Ambassador. Phill Lewis’ first big appearance was on the short lived series ‘Teech’, a situational comedy which got cancelled after only four episodes. In December 1991, he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. He hit a pedestrian who later died. So, Montgomery County Council Court sentenced him to five years in prison, two years of probation, and 350 hours of community service. This incident put his career on hold. He resumed later and started appearing as a supporting actor.

He appeared as Mr. Moseby, the Tipton Hotel manager, on ‘The Suite Life of Zack and Cody’ and its spin-off ‘The Suite Life on Deck’. He made a guest appearance on ‘That’s So Raven’ and ‘8 Simple Rules’. His other notable appearances are on- ‘Lizzie McGuire’ as the principal; Hooch on ‘Scrubs’, Steve on ‘Friends’, ‘Roy on ‘Yes, Dear’, Sam Lee on ‘A Different World’, Mr. Platt on ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’ and a doctor on ‘Brothers & Sisters’. He gave a cameo appearance on ‘How I Met Your Mother’. In ‘Sister, Sister’, he appeared in two roles: as Ed- Tia and Tamera’s teacher and Ray’s campaign manager. In 1991, he starred in the hit movie ‘Brother Future’. His other movie credits are ‘Heathers’, ‘City Slickers’, ‘Surviving Christmas’ and ‘Kicking & Screaming’.

Phill Lewis has five children, four daughters, one of whom is adopted and a son.

Mr. Marion Moseby was one of the major characters on ‘The Suite Life of Zack an’. He’s an uptight intelligent manager of Tipton Hotel and had a wide vocabulary and urbane vernacular. Zack and Cody’s childish activities often annoyed him and he always showed that he didn’t ever care about them. But actually, he was emotionally attached with them. He’s more than a father to London Tipton, spoiled rich princess. He was seen dealing with everyday nuisances created by Zack, Cody, and London.
